A.I.M presents a mixed repertory selection of dances by Artistic Director Kyle Abraham, including SHOW PONY, a new solo work performed by A.I.M dancers; and DRIVE, a NY City Center commissioned ensemble work. Abraham also previews excerpts of his newest evening-length work in process, THE UNTITLED D’ANGELO PROJECT, exploring representation of Black Love in America through the music of D’Angelo.

Work in progress presentation of the NDP-supported work, POWER – Reggie Wilson remembers and reveals a dynamic tapestry influenced by research and inspirations connected to the history and architecture of St. Mark’s Church, history of black shout traditions, Black Shakers, particularly Shaker Eldress, Mother Rebecca Cox Jackson, and his 1995 work, The Littlest Baptist. This original Wilson offering for Danspace Project’s Platform 2018 is being co-presented by American Realness, Danspace Project, and Gibney.
